98% of TvF's Class of 2025 graduated in four years, compared with 81% of students citywide, and every TvF class since 2017 has graduated at a rate of 96% or higher. 78% of TvF students graduated and enrolled in college or another postsecondary program within six months, compared with 63% citywide. Seniors also finish with career credentials: of 124 seniors in 2024-25, 122 passed a CTE technical assessment and 118 earned a CTE diploma. Through our early college partnership with the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC), students can take college courses taught by BMCC professors at no cost, starting the summer after freshman year and continuing with after-school classes on Wednesdays in the fall and spring. In 2024-25, 82 of TvF's 124 seniors had completed a college credit course before graduating. In the 2024-25 School Quality Snapshot, TvF was rated Excellent for both Instruction and Performance and Relationships with Families, and in the 2026 NYC School Survey, 96% of family responses about satisfaction with their child's education were favorable.

A head start at BMCC. Separate from these courses, an articulation agreement between NYC Public Schools and BMCC gives every graduate of TvF's Film and Video Production program a path to college credit, whether or not they took BMCC courses in high school. Graduates who are accepted to BMCC are guaranteed admission to its Video Arts and Technology associate degree program, as space allows. Those who earned a B average (80 or above) in their film and video coursework can also receive 3 college credits for Introduction to Video Technology (VAT 100), so they start the degree with advanced standing and one fewer course to take. The agreement is in effect through June 2030.
