For TvF families

Accounts, forms and links

How to sign up for the accounts and forms families use most, and quick links to everything else. Every contact link opens a message form on our Staff page, so you can reach the right person without looking up an email.

Not sure who to ask? Message Nilsa Arboleda, Parent Coordinator, or call (718) 609-3330.

NYC Public Schools accounts and forms

These come from NYC Public Schools and work the same at every school. Here is how to get started at TvF.

NYC Schools Account

Anytime

See your child's grades, attendance, schedule, test scores and report cards online or in the NYC Schools Account app.

  1. Ask TvF for your account creation code. Message Genecis Aguilera with your child's name and grade.
  2. Genecis sends the code to the parent or guardian email in your child's school record, or you can pick it up in the main office with photo ID.
  3. Go to schoolsaccount.nyc and create your account with the code and your child's 9-digit student ID (ask the main office if you do not have it).

Codes are only given to a parent or guardian. Keep yours private: it opens your child's full school record.

Family Income Inquiry Form

Every school year: complete as soon as possible

Formerly the school lunch form. School meals are free for every NYC public school student, but this form still matters: it decides how much federal Title I funding TvF receives for staff, programs and supplies.

  1. Go to myschoolapps.com, search for New York and choose the New York City public schools district. It takes a few minutes.
  2. Submit one form for all of your children, even if they attend different NYC schools.
  3. Prefer paper? Paper forms are available in the main office.

Questions or need help? Message Nilsa Arboleda, Parent Coordinator.

NYC School Survey

2027 dates: TBD - Check back later

Every year, families, students and teachers tell NYC Public Schools how their school is doing. Your answers are private and help shape TvF's plans.

  1. When the survey opens, go to the NYC School Survey site (opens in a new tab).
  2. Sign in with a lowercase f followed by your child's 9-digit student ID (for example, f123456789).

Last year's survey ran February 9 to April 30, 2026. Questions? Message Nate Carroll.

Student DOE accounts

Every student has a NYC Public Schools account (username@nycstudents.net) for Google Classroom, email and TeachHub.

  1. Set up a PIN now at selfservice.schools.nyc: sign in, choose PIN Reset, and create a PIN.
  2. Forgot the password? On the same site, choose Forgot Username/Password and enter the student ID, date of birth and PIN.
  3. Families can also reset it from their NYC Schools Account, and any TvF staff member can reset it at school.

Student OMNY cards

Eligible students get a free student OMNY card for subway and bus rides. NYC Public Schools sets the rules for how many rides a day the card allows and when it works.

  1. Lost or broken card? First sign in to your child's @nycstudents.net Google account. The form only opens for student accounts.
  2. Fill out the TvF OMNY card replacement form below.

Language help and family rights

Help in your language

You have the right to information from the school in your language and to a free interpreter. To request one for a meeting or phone call, message Nilsa Arboleda, Parent Coordinator.

Family rights

NYC Public Schools lists the rights and responsibilities every parent and guardian has in the Parents' Bill of Rights.

Immigrant families

Every student has the right to attend public school, regardless of immigration status. NYC Public Schools has resources for families and clear rules for how schools respond to non-local law enforcement.

Apps TvF uses

JumpRope gradebook

TvF grades in JumpRope. The Family Portal shows current grades, assignments and missing work for each class.

  1. Ask for a family account: message Nate Carroll with your name, your email and your child's name.
  2. You can also sign in at app.jumpro.pe with your child's @nycstudents.net Google account.

Forms & Flows (formerly Operoo)

TvF uses Forms & Flows for emergency contacts and health information, trip permission slips, media consent and other school forms.

  1. Watch for an email invitation from TvF, or message Nate Carroll to request access.
  2. Sign in on the web or in the SchoolStatus Forms & Flows app.

Keep your emergency contacts up to date: they are who we call if something happens at school.

Google Classroom

Teachers post assignments and class updates in Google Classroom. Families can get a daily or weekly guardian email summary.

  1. Ask your child's teachers to add you for guardian email summaries.
