Our commitment

Accessibility statement

The Academy for Careers in Television and Film wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website and find what they need.

Our standard

We build and review this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard the U.S. Department of Justice set for public schools and other public entities under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

What we have done

In September 2026 we reviewed every page on this site. We rebuilt older pages, including the Student Handbook and the Spectator and Visitor Policy, as regular web pages instead of PDFs, so they work with screen readers, zoom and phones. As of that review, every page passed the WAVE accessibility checker with no errors.

What we do not control

Some links lead to content run by others, such as NYC Public Schools documents, MySchools, Google Docs and Google Forms. If one of these does not work for you, tell us and we will get you the information another way.

Other formats

If you need something from this site in a different format, such as large print, a document read aloud or a version that works with your assistive technology, ask and we will provide it.

Report a problem

Report a problem or ask for help. Email Nate Carroll, Assistant Principal, at ncarroll@schools.nyc.gov, or call the main office at (718) 609-3330.

Please tell us which page you were on and what went wrong. We aim to reply within five school days.
